Festive Styling 101

First Outfit
— pale pista green set

The first outfit is a pale pista green angrakha and palazzo set worn in its traditional style. Smridhi’s styled the look with a silver statement necklace and handmade leather mojaris in a matching colour to create a seamless tone-on-tone ensemble. Why not give this outfit a try for a gathering at home with family and friends?

Second style
— red and off white suit

Her second look is a brand new take on our red and off white suit. Smridhi has played up the fun of print-on-print by draping the dupatta on a classic brown leather waistbelt, adding an element of draping onto a classic tailored suit. The technique is simple: pleat one end of the dupatta and tuck it into the belt, bring the other end of the dupatta over the shoulder to knot in front and tuck into the belt once again. A stone-encrusted ring, red mojaris and silver dangler earrings provide the right finishing touch. This is a great way to experiment with a classic look! Give it a try a few times, and you’re sure to get the hang of it.

Third style
— pink and blue suit

Smridhi’s third look is pure pastel love! A pink and blue suit featuring nature prints is paired with a flowing dupatta. Styled with an element of newness, the dupatta is brought around the back and knotted in front to create a cape style accessory. The look is finished with pastel-toned mojaris and delicate hoop earrings that beautifully complement the colour story of this ensemble. You now have the know how to create brand new ensembles via creative styling for the festive season. Which of the three looks is your favourite?
