What Mother really wants!
Finding a gift for one of the most loving persons in your life can be a challenge. Because she usually wants the intangible things in life: To see you happy. To see you doing what you love. To have you achieving your milestones. So how do you gift such a precious person a gift worthy of her?
Words are all you have!
Nothing screams “Happy Mother’s Day!” more than a personalized message. You don’t have to be Gulzar Saab to write a message that will make your mother smile. Simply writing it is half the battle. Remember, mothers are super uncritical when it comes to their kids!
A few pointers:
1. The best wishes are always the most personal.
Tell her about a memory you have of her. Something she did for you. A meal she cooked for you. Something about her you admire. You’ll be surprised how Mom will love this. It’s reinforcing the wonderful bond that she has nurtured all these years.
2. Draw her a doodle.
You don’t have to be a Picasso. Actually, your drawing may very well, unintentionally, of course, look like something he drew. Do Google him and you will know what we mean!
3. Write her a poem
The internet has several rhyming dictionary sites that will make writing poetry for Mom, oh-so- easy-peasy. Just try it… you’ll be amazed how much your mother will love it. Presenting a loving effort from a team member.

4. Find a quote that suits your Mom
Goodreads has plenty. They come as Google images too, in all sizes, shapes, and colors. A simple one: “Home is where your Mom is.” Or one from singer-composer Alicia Keys, “My Mom is definitely my Rock.”.
5. Write her a Thank You note.
We often forget to say thank you to her for all that she’s done for us. This is a good time to express your appreciation. In your own stumbling words. This is personal and it’s for Mom, remember. You don’t need to be Shakespeare. Not for Mom. You being You is much more precious. A touch of Summer Glam?
